Welcome Home Jersey City
Established in 2016, Welcome Home Jersey City is a community-based nonprofit organization that provides educational, employment and material support for refugees, asylees and asylum-seekers in the Jersey City area. Welcome Home operates from the philosophy that all people deserve the dignity of a decent home, and the resources they need to make a better life for themselves. Welcome Home believes our community needs to help our new neighbors adjust to their new environment. As such, our goal is to facilitate our clients’ successful integration into the community by augmenting and extending services provided by resettlement agencies.
Tony’s Kitchen
Toni’s Kitchen is a food ministry of St Luke’s Episcopal Church in Montclair, NJ.
Our goal is to ensure reliable access to healthy food for residents of West Orange, Montclair and Bloomfield.
Toni's Kitchen provides food to our neighbors in need in ways that respect their dignity, improve health and foster independence.
We use a community partner model to enhance access and connections to programs and resources that encourage healthy, independent lives.
Grover Cleveland Park Conservancy
The Grover Cleveland Park Conservancy is a group of community volunteers dedicated to the upkeep of Grover Cleveland Park and serves as an important partner to the Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs. Grover Cleveland Park is a living landscape with structures, trees and plants in continuous need of upkeep and historic preservation.
